Moving house with a helper: what to update

Notify MOM within two weeks

MOM’s notification page requires you to update the residential address within two weeks of moving. The route depends on your status:

• Singapore citizens and PRs: update via ICA’s eService.
• EP, S Pass, Dependent Pass and MOM-issued LTVP holders: update via EP eService. For MOM-issued LTVP holders, the EP/S Pass holder or sponsoring company updates on their behalf.
• ICA-issued LTVP holders: update via FDW eService → Edit my Profile, uploading the latest address documents.

Check MOM’s notification page for which route applies to you. Do not assume one eService covers all employer types.

Accommodation at the new home

• ☐ Check the sleeping space meets MOM’s requirements before she moves in. See accommodation requirements.
• ☐ Inform the building management at the new address if there are access or registration requirements.

Practical preparation

• ☐ Orient your helper to the new neighbourhood: supermarket, MRT, clinic, school route if applicable.
• ☐ Update emergency contacts if the nearest clinic or family contacts change.
• ☐ Update the written schedule if the new location changes commute times or routines.
