MOM requires salary to be paid no later than 7 days after the end of each salary period, at no less than the declared amount. Since 2019, you must not hold her money, bank book or bank card. If she requests bank transfer, pay into her own account. If you pay cash, both of you must sign the record. Check the current requirements on MOM’s salary guidelines.

Yes. Keep a record of every payment including the date, amount and method. For cash payments, both employer and helper must sign.
MOM says employers cannot recover upkeep costs such as food, accommodation, medical expenses and airfare home from salary, or impose salary penalties for performance or damaged household equipment. It addresses placement-loan recovery separately: the amount, duration and method should be clear in the employment contract. Check an unclear or disputed deduction directly with MOM before making it.
