MOM sends a renewal letter about eight weeks before the Work Permit expires. The letter tells you whether a medical examination is required and gives the submission deadline. MOM sends a renewal letter approximately eight weeks before the Work Permit expires. The letter includes the submission deadline and whether a medical examination is required for this renewal. If you have not received a letter and the expiry is approaching, check FDW eService or contact MOM. See MOM’s renewal page.
MOM allows renewal even if the helper’s passport has expired or has limited remaining validity. A valid passport is required for travel, but passport validity does not determine the renewed permit’s duration. Check the renewal page for the current requirements on documents.
